Hostages

The original Israeli series, a modern-day psychological crime-thriller that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.

A brilliant female surgeon, discovers her family have been kidnapped the night before she is due to perform surgery on the Israeli Prime Minister. The hostage-holders have one demand: “Kill the PM on the operating table or your loved ones die.”

Richard wrote the trailer music. The series is released on DVD and digital download on March 16th by Arrow Films.

Mutant Chronicles

The Mutant Chronicles trailer was assembled from several of the elements of the original soundtrack, and demonstrates the stylised look and feel of the movie, directed by Simon Hunter and released in the USA in 2009.

Hard Boiled

John Woo's Hard Boiled has been described as the "The most action packed film of all time... with some of the greatest action scenes ever filmed."

This trailer for the Weinstein's Dragon Dynasty Ultimate Edition released in 2007 was written with Phil Sawyer and features a small choir and a mass of samples. Hard Boiled has been Dragon Dynasty's biggest selling release to date.

1864

1864 is a 2014 Danish historical war drama mini series written and directed by Ole Bornedal. It tells the story of the Second Schleswig war of 1864 between Denmark and an alliance of Prussia and Austria. It ended in defeat for Denmark and the loss of a quarter of her territory.

It follows two brothers from a remote village on Funen, who enlist in the Danish army just before the outbreak of war.

It was the most expensive Danish TV series to date.

City of Violence

Tae-su, a detective fighting organized crime, returns to his hometown for his high school friend Wang-jae's funeral. At the funeral, he meets his old friends Pil-ho, Dong-hwan and Seok-hwan and they reminisce. Suspecting something fishy about Wang-jae's death, Tae-su and Seok-hwan start investigating it, each in his own way. Both of their investigations lead to an unsuspected discovery.

Directed by Ryu Seung-wan who also stars, City of Violence was released by Contender Entertainment in 2007.

Duelist

Set years ago in the Joseon Dynasty, Duelist is a South Korean martial arts film directed by Lee Myung-Se. A young police officer and her colleague discover a counterfeit operation is planning to topple the economy and decide to stop them.

The music for the UK  trailer was written by Richard, with orchestration by the great Larry Ashmore. The orchestral recordings were done in the beautiful city of Prague.
