City of Violence

Tae-su, a detective fighting organized crime, returns to his hometown for his high school friend Wang-jae's funeral. At the funeral, he meets his old friends Pil-ho, Dong-hwan and Seok-hwan and they reminisce. Suspecting something fishy about Wang-jae's death, Tae-su and Seok-hwan start investigating it, each in his own way. Both of their investigations lead to an unsuspected discovery.

Directed by Ryu Seung-wan who also stars, City of Violence was released by Contender Entertainment in 2007.

 

Hostages

The original Israeli series, a modern-day psychological crime-thriller that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.

A brilliant female surgeon, discovers her family have been kidnapped the night before she is due to perform surgery on the Israeli Prime Minister. The hostage-holders have one demand: “Kill the PM on the operating table or your loved ones die.”

Richard wrote the trailer music. The series is released on DVD and digital download on March 16th by Arrow Films.

 

Mutant Chronicles

The Mutant Chronicles trailer was assembled from several of the elements of the original soundtrack, and demonstrates the stylised look and feel of the movie, directed by Simon Hunter and released in the USA in 2009.

Dragon Dynasty

This music was written by Richard and Phil Sawyer for the launch of the Weinsteins Dragon Dynasty martial arts label.

Hard Boiled

John Woo's Hard Boiled has been described as the "The most action packed film of all time... with some of the greatest action scenes ever filmed."

This trailer for the Weinstein's Dragon Dynasty Ultimate Edition released in 2007 was written with Phil Sawyer and features a small choir and a mass of samples. Hard Boiled has been Dragon Dynasty's biggest selling release to date.

Doghouse

This is the second theatrical trailer for Doghouse, edited by director Jake West and using music from the original score.
 

Warrior King

"The Warrior King " aka "Tom Yum Goong" tells the story of Kam (Tony Jaa), a simple village boy, who is forced to travel to Australia when one of his precious elephants is stolen. With the help of a Thai policeman Kam uncovers a gang lead by the evil Madame Rose and has to take on all who stand in his way.

The Warrior King trailer was written for the UK release of Tony Jaa's follow up to Ong-bak. Music by Richard and Phil Sawyer.

 

Ong-Bak

This trailer is an original composition written before Richard composed his film score for Ong-bak. Elements from the trailer were subsequently used in Ong-bak the movie, and especially in the tuk-tuk chase sequence.
